ALAN KOSAKOFF Memoriam

KOSAKOFF, ALAN JAY Alan Jay Kosakoff left this world on October 2, 2007. He was 35 years old. Not a day goes by without my thinking about him and feeling his presence. His spirit was loving and loyal, he had a gentle, patient nature. He was kind and never spoke badly about anyone. He loved his brother, Joel, his father, Harold, and his two nephews, Jake and Charlie. He was always there for his family and friends whenever they needed his help. His sense of humor was unconventional and thought provoking. In making fun of certain things, rules, behaviors, societal values, he made us more aware of deeper more intrinsic truths. I miss his music and watching him shoot hoops. I miss watching "The Simpsons" with him and watching him smile. He had practically all the episodes of "Seinfeld" memorized. The world did not give him back what he deserved, which was a chance to develop his innate talents and enjoy the continued love of his family and friends. He was taken too soon, but the profound affect he had on those who knew him will always be remembered and cherished. Living up to his belief in fairness, goodness, honesty, loyalty, and helping the less fortunate, is how I try to honor his courageous spirit. Love Mom
