ALFRED LUTTER Obituary

LUTTER Jr., ALFRED WILLIAM Alfred William Lutter Jr., 86, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011. Al was born on September 15, 1924 in Wilmette, IL. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University. Mr. Lutter served in the Navy during World War II and after the war married Ruth Evelyn Huber on March 22, 1947. He worked for 25 years at NASSCO before his retirement as Senior Vice President. Mr. Lutter was a member of Bernardo Heights Country Club and Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his children, Catherine Lutter and husband Todd McCreight, Donald Lutter, James Lutter and wife Elizabeth Bonilla, Alfred Lutter III and wife Jocelyn; grandchildren, Benjamin Lutter, Jeffrey Mc-Creight, Anna McCreight, Sarah Lutter, Avery Lutter; brothers, Donald Lutter, Richard Lutter; and sister Dorothy Alexander. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in 2006. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church in Rancho Bernardo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Al's name to Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church or the Palomar Pomerado Hospital Foundation. Arrangements are by Alhiser-Comer Mortuary.
