Here at work tonight at our Reunion Ctr and listening to a band playing to about 500 residents in the Ballroom. I was looking at flowers that I want to send. A song, don't know the name but the words went "can't live without you, can't smile without you". Jeez and like a fool, burst out crying. You would have had words of comfort but we miss you. Do you remember I would call you all on your birthdays and make you listen to the "Dolly" that sings Happy Birthday. Well, Dolly has broken and we can't get it fixed. Sorry. People have said that time heals all wounds. It's not true. If anything, there are times that are truly intense with a great sense of lost. What should have been, what could have been.
Not a good day. The thing that helps us the most is knowing that your spirit continues in your children. They shine with love, joy, compassion, etc. All the qualities that your showed during your brief time with us.

It has been quite awhile. We want you to know that we have not forgotten you and never will. Daily life seems to get in the way, some good and some not so good. My sweet sister has now passed, she too has taken a piece of my heart Good things, seeing grandchildren who helped us through that time (even though they did not realize it). I heard of Andrea's passing and remember the Permito family through soccer. Andrea was an amazing women and what a great family. I am so sorry for your loss. March 29th is coming upon us and it still amazes me how time has flown by. Sometimes, I still wake up and expect you to be downstairs sitting in your favorite chair drinking coffee. March 29th also happens to be Good Friday this year, the day Jesus Christ died for our sins. You share the death day of God. I don't know why that fact gives me some peace. Maybe because I know that because of His sacrafice you are up there in heaven, happy and without pain. My faith, which you instilled in me, gives me hope that I will see you again one day.

On the day our son said I do to Andrea we gained a daughter. Andrea was intelligent, loving, beautiful and so much more. She adored her husband, her children and family. Andrea gave of herself whether it was time, volunteering and/or mentoring at her childrens schools. Andrea shared her husband and children with us for which we will be forever thankful. Please accept my condolences and wishes for spiritual comfort during this difficult time. It was my privilege to have been a part of Andrea's journey through high school as one of her track coaches. She was often the "anchor leg" on the relay team, and from the comments others have made, she held this role as well in the many activities she was involved with in her life beyond high school. When it is all said and done, it is the accomplishments and legacy one leaves that remain with family and loved ones. May you all find comfort in the shining string of memories Andrea left behind. What a classy woman and competitor, one who will be missed!

Andrea was such a wonderful person. I will never forget the time the girls were in Temecula for a tournament and they got their socks all wet and muddy. Andrea took all the socks ,drove all the way back home to clean them and brought them back for the next game! That was the kind of person she was She had the biggest heart.

Your Wife and Mommy was an incredible woman. She was so loved by so many. She talked about you kids all the time and was so proud of your athletic abilities and your accomplishments in school. She always shared pictures of you to all her family here at S.O.N.G.S. We use to Van Pool together when you lived in San Marcos and laughed all the way to work and back talking about financial investing and what we all did that weekend with our family.
Your Aunt Carla is an incredible woman also, and I know she has been there for you all during this very hard and confusing time.

Andrea was a fellow "Eagle" and I enjoyed running into her at track and on the trainer bench for San Pasqual High School. She always had a smile and a wonderful laugh.
It was a pleasure meeting her again much later in life on the soccer field-watching her and Curt juggle the kids from one practice to the next. She loved her hectic schedule and was so proud of her family. Andrea had a strong devotion of faith and family. She was always ready to help others, and saw only the positive in people. She was an inspiration to all, and will be missed. I am sorry her time was cut so short- she was one of the good ones taken way to young.

One of our more recent memories, was volunteering at Petco Park with Andrea. Long rides down and back she and I talking about the kids. She and John joking about the stand managers/other employees. She had such a rich sense of humor, our sides would ache from laughing. She was the ultimate lioness for her family. Fierce, Strong, and Loving, very protective of her children and her spouse. So organized knowing where she had to be next and with what kid...I bet that van had a million miles on it. We also had the pleasure of seeing her competitive nature in full form, on the golf course. She would cheer for someone full hearted but we all knew we just didn't want to win that last place award. My daughters first thought was I will miss my ref'n buddy. Batavia will never forget those times with Andrea.
The world has lost a wonderful soul and the heavens have received a tireless angel. We all thank you for being part of our lives.
