Ann Stringfellow Obituary

STRINGFELLOW ANN MARIE Ann Marie Stringfellow, 61, died Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at an Abilene medical center. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Frederick Nawarskas officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 5701 Hwy 277 South. Her body will be cremated. Ann Marie was born to Gerard Marchand, Sr. and Marie (Coffey) Marchand, on April 1, 1942, in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Abilene from Hawaii in 1980. She retired from Walmart where she was a cashier for fourteen years. She married Michael Stringfellow on June 20, 1964, in San Diego, Calif. Mrs. Stringfellow was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Abilene. She was predeceased by her mother, Marie Marchand, and her sister, Linda Schwegman. Survivors include her husband, Michael Stringfellow of Abilene; two daughters, Deborah Carroll and Melissa Stringfellow both of Abilene; her father, Gerard Marchand of San Diego, Calif.; five brothers, Jerry Marchand, David Marchand, and Patrick Marchand of San Diego, Calif,., Leo Marchand of Lemon Grove, Calif., and Michael Marchand of Grossmont, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Ethan Carroll, Garrett Stringfellow, and Madison James. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, P.O. Box 5970, Abilene, TX 79608.
