Thinking of Brett today as I frequently do with appreciation for the person and Dr. he was. Sincerely sending love to those who are the closest to him. It was clear he loved you deeply. I only knew him as a patient but being a body worker myself always wanted to learn what he was doing but what came through in our sessions was the love, appreciation and admiration for those closest to him. I also brought my son to him and appreciated the way he interacted with my son. I will continue to remember and miss him. Sending sincere condolences.

I met Brett by accident one day; he was wearing a t-shirt from an obscure sporting event that I was involved in, and I asked him about it. That was all it took. We were fast friends. Lots of beach runs, bike rides, and fish tacos. Then one day he said, "I think you need a new doctor, come see me", and my whole life changed for the better, permanently. My sincere condolences to all his family, he really loved you guys and talked about you non-stop. My heartbreak is overshadowed, though, by my gratitude for being lucky enough to have such a unique friend.

I first met Brett when I joined the Tierrasanta Cycling Club about 12 years ago. He was a good friend before he became my doctor. The day I finally started seeing him as a doctor was the day my health changed forever. He then made even greater impacts in the health of my family. His passion for seeing long-term improvement in his patients was unequaled. Brett, your passing leaves in big hole in all of our lives. You are and will forever be missed.

We are all losing a great human being. I have been his patient for about 5 years and has always made me feel better after visiting him. A total shock to know he is gone. May god have him in his glory and my condolences to all his family.

My husband had been seeing Brett for over 30 years and I had been seeing him for more than 20 years. We trusted Brett with our health and he was always able to "fix us". We loved the fact that he was always learning about new treatment modalities. His expertise and intuition were stunning. My husband and I are heartbroken and don´t know who we will find to replace this kind and talented man we called our friend. We will miss our office visits and the stories and laughter we used to share. Our condolences go out to his family. RIP Brett. We are out of the country until June 21st, otherwise we would be at the service to support Brett´s family. Jamie Hogan and Cindy Taiclet
