Carol was one of the most remarkable, funniest and funnest people I've ever met.
I worked with her for 18 years, and recall how her kindness, beauty, strength, and knowledge made her a welcome part of the day.
Thanks for everything, Carol!

I, too, am very shocked to hear this sad news. For the many years I've known Carol while at SDSU, she was always very kind and caring to her staff and everyone she came across. Carol was very passionate about helping people who're at a disadvantage. May you rest in peace, my friend. I will miss you Carol!

Carol was always an upbeat person and a joy to be around. I missed seeing her frequently after she retired from SDSU. So sorry to hear of her passing.
