I was the vineyard manager at San Pasqual Vineyards 1977-79, right after I finished my BS Plant Science and MS Horticulture at UC Davis. He gave me a chance and it launched my professional career. He was a great person to work for! Later, I worked a a vineyard manager in the Napa region and from 1986-2014 I was the head of the Viticulture and Winery Technology at Napa Valley College. I also earned my PhD Ecology at UC Davis during that era. I'll always have fond memories of my time in Escondido with Charles!

To the Froehlich Family, we send our heartfelt condolences for your loss.
As friends and colleagues of Millicent in the San Diego Symphony, Charles honored us by performing our marriage ceremony in 1980.
We will always hold Charles and Millicent in our memories with the utmost respect, admiration and love.

Many condolences on the loss of your amazing father. To lose both parents in one year is difficult.
I have fond memories of parties in your Point Loma family home and yard, visits to their Winery, their Escondido home and orchards. Always, always your parents were warm and welcoming and wonderful.
Much love,
Judy & Bob Sharp
