Dr. Molnar was my girl's pediatrician in the middle 70s & 80s. My girls & I loved him. When my son was 2 he had a fibral seizure and even though other doctors gave me their advice, I went to Dr. Molnar whom I knew and trusted with my kids. When my sister came to San Diego with her 3 kids she took her kids to Dr. Molnar. There isn't ever going to be another Dr. Molnar who was so kind, caring . At times I would run into him in La Jolla at a book sale & he always took the time to say "Hi." My condolences to Dr. Molnar's family.

I knew Dr. Molnar, not as the excellent physician he was, but rather, as an antique dealer. He opened up his shop on Adams Avenue on Saturdays and I would visit with him frequently. He was extremely knowledgeable about all sorts of antiques and we shared a love of antiques and collectibles. I purchased many items from him, which I cherish, all the moreso now, since I just learned of his passing. He was always informative, eager to share his knowledge, kind, polite, compassionate, just a wonderful human being. May he be resting in peace beside he Lord. My condolences to his family, friends, and former patients.

Dr. Molar was my son's pediatrician 35 yrs. ago. I live down the street and would run into the Dr. quite often shopping at Keils and Rite Aid, I would always come up to him and engage in a little small talk. I always loved his soft spoken manner and gentle way he had with my son. I will miss seeing him and send my sincere condolences to his family.

What a wonderful man. Dr. Molnar was the pediatrician for our three girls and helped us navigate our new role as parents. His calm, patient, and common sense style was just what we needed. Whenever our daughters came to us with questions re: what THEIR new babies could eat, my husband inevitably told them just what Dr. Molnar had written on the feeding schedule he handed out with each of our visits, ' an egg a day, if tolerated'. He always acted like you were one of his favorites. One day we were driving down the freeway and heard a honk. Dr. Molnar was next to us, smiling that kind smile of his. He had recognized us, honked, and then waved. May God bless his family. Forever grateful,Ann and Larry Watson (daughters - Emily, Jessica, and Amy)

Dr. Molnar was the pediatrician for my brother's kids in the 60's and 70's. I became friends with his daughter Kathleen (Kathy) when we attended the same catholic school. When I would go to their house he was always so calm and nice. I ran into him years later in La Jolla and it was so nice to see him. I drove past the house recently on an errand and wondered how he was doing. Kathy and Charlie, I am so sorry for your loss.

When our twins were born, in 1972, Dr Molnar was their Dr. We moved to Poway in 1974, but still came to his office on Balboa until they were old enough to go the regular Dr. He was so kind and always knew just what to do! We tried Pediatricians in Poway, but never found one to replace him! Sorry for your loss, he was simply wonderful!!

In 1980, our only child, Laura, was born. We were so blessed to have Dr. Molnar guide us throughout her childhood. His calm, reassuring demeanor was just what this anxious young mother needed. We are so thankful to have had him as our doctor. I also enjoyed interacting with his vivacious nurse and wife for a few years. I was lucky to see Dr. Molnar often at the grocery store and have missed him in recent years. We wish your family peace. You are in our prayers as you celebrate the life of a true gentleman, gifted doctor, and wonderful family man. God Bless, the Kilcoyne Family.
