Well sweet Mary Sunshine keep smiling! Your grandchildren are doing fantastic , each one with a wonderful spouse and you have two adorable sweet grandchildren. Each one is a miracle , shining their smiles and sweet nature just like the Craig´s always do. So you can strut like a peacock, wrap your arms around these beauties. Stacy and Steve are filled to the brim with pride and love. The Lords guidance is always present while leading the way.The Craig´s are truly blessed. So mama sunshine keep smiling, keep showing up, guide their faith, love constantly and thrive with many blessings! We love and miss your beautiful spirit at OCSD!

Connie was my “sister” since 6th grade. We came in and out of each other’s lives over the years as we moved and were busy taking care of our families. She was one/fifth of the FEAST club (Friends Eating And Shopping Together) as we met in different places starting in Quartzsite AZ in 1997 until our last meeting in Jacksonville, OR in 2019. Two of our members left this world within the last 3 months and the loss is overwhelming. Connie and Lolita are now FEASTING in Heaven and are missed every day.

I first met Connie when I was performing with Stacie at Disneyland. It is very true that her smile and her spirit preceded any conversation you had with her! She had a wonderful way of making everyone she met feel special, unique, and loved.
Stacie is an amazing example of the selfless, loving, caring, incredible woman that Connie was. I am grateful and thankful that God blessed me by bringing Stacie and Connie both into my life.

stacie, I am so sorry to hear about Connie. The last time I saw her and you was when Ida passed. Your Mom was so proud of you and Steve. She adored Mollie and Quin. She was a wonderful person to work with. Your tribute was beautiful.

I am oh so sorry to hear this news. Connie was always one of my favorite people at the UT. I remember her talking about her daughter dancing at Disneyland and how proud she was of her. Thank you for this wonderful remembrance of your remarkable mother.

Miss Mary Sunshine, always positive, caring, considerate and proud of her family! Her attitude, hard work, love and “sunshine” is who her daughter “Miss Stacy Craig” is! A leader, care giver, hard working , selfless good kind Christian woman! A mom, wife, grandma, sister and “Connies daughter,” Miss Stacy is always “with a Smile!” This is such a heartbreak but “Miss Mary Sunshine” lives on in each of her family members. I’m grateful to have Connie and Stacy’s friendship! Much love to all the Craig’s ! Love always the Wachman Family

Connie was a great and caring friend. She loved to come to Cayucos for a visit on her way home from visiting friends in Oregon. She would even make the long drive from San Diego to Cayucos to cat sit for me so I could go on a vacation. She loved the cats and they loved her. She would take my place at bible study night when I was gone. The bible study group loved her and asked when she was coming up again. They kept her in prayer while she was ill.
Connie's smile was her trademark. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandson and lived her life for them.
Connie, you will be missed but I know you are with the Lord and probably playing games with your Tracie.
Love you much!

Sending you all strength and love and many prayers in this time. Praying for God to heal your hearts. Connie was a beautiful smile that came from her beautiful soul. She was a part of my life because I was Stacie’s friend. That was all she needed to treat me like family. She is an angel that will watch over many. Love you all! Melissa

I worked at the U-T for many years and on occasion interacted with Connie. I remember her smile and her laugh. She was so proud of both of her daughters, sharing your achievements with such pride. I smile thinking of her and send my sympathies to you and the entire family.

I am so sorry for your loss. This was the most beautiful tribute and I feel as though I know Connie even more now. Even though I didn’t get to spend much time with her, I was able to feel her passion for her family, animals and life. She was an incredibly special woman and I am happy to have met her. She is a true inspiration.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was a supplier to the UT and Connie and I would chat long after our business was done. We enjoyed many birthday lunches at PF Chang’s discussing our kids. Connie was very good to me and I will miss her!

connie was a longtime resident of our community. She was on the homeowners board serving in several titles even at one time president. She was an active member of the fun bunch for many years. She went on several cruises with a group from the community as we traveled throughout this great country of ours. She was always willing to help anyone that needed a little encouragement. She lived in our community for over 40 years and always kept her home looking perfect. She took a lot of pride in her home and it showed. She will be missed. God has another angel on his side. Prayers to the family.
