Craig Hardin Obituary

Craig O. Hardin, 63, died of natural causes at home on the morning of August 10th, 2023.
Craig spent his childhood in Mercer Island, Washington as a competitive swimmer and loving brother. In 1982, he graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and achieved his dream of becoming a naval aviator. As an intelligence officer, Craig continued to proudly serve his country for nearly 30 years. After he retired from the USN, Craig contributed immensely to a multitude of DoD leadership positions that positively impacted the readiness of our nation's security.
Craig spent his life pursuing his passions of food and wine, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. For the past 12 years, Craig was able to enjoy his passions and adventures with his life partner, Lori. He was a dedicated and involved member of his community and church, Maranatha Chapel. Craig never missed an opportunity to support those he cared for.
Craig is succeeded by his two children, two grandchildren, brother Neil, and life partner. A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future to celebrate the remarkable life of our partner, father, friend and hero, Craig. He will be dearly missed each day, but his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved him.
We will forever hear him cheer, "Go Navy, Beat Army!"

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had the privilege of working with Craig for a few years and after I left Trabus, I would see him from time to time at NAVWAR. Craig was always a pleasure to work with. He worked hard and worked smart. He was to the go-to person for anything Cyber and he although he was the subject matter expert, he was always gracious in helping out. He was an inspiration to me and we will all miss him. His Legacy will live on - he served our Country well on active duty and served us all well after he transitioned to the Contractor Support Role to NAVWAR. I salute you Craig! Sincerely, Olav
