Dear Danny,
I met you many years ago when you were probably 8. We set out on a hike to Kitchen Creek falls and although it was a warm and challenging trek, you were not about to give up despite the heat and a little tumble that skinned up your knee. I see many years later that you carried that same perseverance with you into adulthood with so many successes. I am grateful to have spent that afternoon with you and I see that you continued to enjoy the great outdoors. I send my sincerest condolences to your family and I pray that time will quickly heal the pain and ease the sadness.

Rip Dan,I was gutted when I heard the news you left us. When I started working at Il Fornaio we immediately bonded. We shared so many laughs. Time passed, but we still frequently crossed paths and reflected on the good times. You are truly an amazing soul. So full of kindness, and such a beautiful person. I'm lucky to have ever known you Dan.

Dan the MAN!! That is how I greeted him every day. I met Dan when I was a bartender...he would come in from time to time and was always so kind but full of light and laughter. I shared many things with him as he would stay and just hang out with me on slow nights....just us and a random few we didn't know. He would even wait to walk me out and make sure I made it to my car safely. That's just the type of true gentleman he is. I told him about a job a Applebees Restaurant bartending and we soon became co workers and THOSE were the days!!lol. Dan isn't the smallest guy and being he only girl behind a bar w two big guys left me no room ...soon he was named wreck it ralph for how big he was in our little bar space we shared...lol. I would tell him take it easy on the workouts muscle man...lol. He was such a joy to work with, talk to as a friend and be who I was and feel accepted and understood...I smile thinking of his presence. His smile was contagious for sure and when something was off he wasn't the best pretender so I would remind him to pray and not to worry. Man Dan....aka...Wreck it ralph.....Sure gonna miss running in to you...My heart has been touched by your absence now and I will hold onto life a little closer now....Miss you always dan...Thank you to his Loved ones whom raised such a kind, loyal, selfless ray of sunshine in this world , my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
God Bless-
Tiffany

You were six years old, when I first met you Danny. I'll never forget when you gave me a warm hugs welcome to be part of your family without any questions or hesitations. You have touched my heart just simply being you. Since then, I have known you were a special person. Your grandpa Les was always so proud of you telling everyone during his 80th birthday about your football championship game that you played superb when we watched you play in the Aloha Bowl! Your grandpa Les loves you and he will always love you. Words can't describe our warm memories of you Danny. Though, we will miss your eyes sparkled with shine, and your smiles so sweet but contagious! You always gave us love and respect. Thank you for being in our lives. You mean a lot to us! We will always keep loving and remembering you Danny! We truly love you Dan. May God bless you in heaven!

Danny, Dan, Cobler, Cobs, and a plethora of other nicknames we used to call each other...I'm heartbroken. I spent last weekend thinking about the many adventures we shared...end of high school...college...and of course, living together in Cardiff for my last 2.5 years in San Diego. My God did we have a blast together. Those memories will remain with me forever and will always bring a smile to my face. Everything that Jeff & your friends have written, everything that your coworkers have mentioned, everything that your brother & family has said is all 1000% true. You were and always will be the REAL DEAL. You're one of the kindest, loyalest, selfLESS, charming people we, your friends & family, will ever know. I hope one day we'll see each other again. When we do, we'll toast over a shot of Goldschläger and laugh about old times. Until then, rest in peace my man.
Sincerest condolences from the Hass family.

Danny, It has been an absolute pleasure to have you for a nephew. From the time you were a little boy, you have always had such a beautiful heart! I know how important family is to you and you have always been so kind and loving to your cousins. Thank you for being the best little ring bearer and all the wondeful memories. Watching you grow up and become a man has been amazing, but, one thing has never changed and that is your kind spirit! I am comforted by knowing the last time I saw you this Christmas, our family all held hands and said the "Lords Prayer" together. Love you Danny! You a greatly missed. And we would all love one of your great hugs right now.

If you search the world over, you won't find better friends than The Coblers, and Danny was a part of the extraordinary goodness of this family. To everyone in Danny's family, I send my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy, with special thoughts, prayers and love to his Dad Bill, Aunt Paula and Grandmother Gracie. May each of you find comfort in one another at this difficult time of great loss and may it be of some small solace to you to know others are praying for all of you. I have no doubt that Danny was a dearly loved beautiful soul whose light will continue to shine brightly from heaven above for all eternity. May God be with all of you now and forever more.
