David Donald Malcolm, 91, of San Diego died Feb. 14. He was born in Cambridge, Mass., and was a professor at San Diego State University. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the Harvard Alumni Association.
Survivors include his companion, Barbara Hoffman of Ventura; daughters, River Malcolm of Eastsound, Wash., Bonnie Malcolm of Los Angeles and Judy Malcolm of Shell Beach; son, David Malcolm of Maplewood, Minn.; stepson, Douglas Stinson of Oakland; and three grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Don Powell Theatre, San Diego State University, 5500 Campanile Drive, San Diego.
Donations: CBB for Life, 5917 Cozzens St., San Diego, CA 92122.
Arrangements: Humphrey Mortuary.
