David Monjaras

David Monjaras, 81 OCEANSIDE -- David Monjaras, 81, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008. Born Dec. 27, 1926, to Jesus Monjaras and Leonarda Frias in San Felipe, Mexico, he served in the Mexican military for four years in the mid-late 1940's. As a grandfather, he was the nicest person you would ever meet. If you were feeling down, he would say something and get you laughing in no time. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50+ years, Maria. David is survived by his three daughters; five sons; two great granddaughters, who helped take care of him, Veronica Arnold, age three, and Natalia Arnold, age seven. David will be deeply missed as he has left a big void at home. In our hearts, forever he will remain.
