Dave was my boss at Cafe Del Rey in 1999. He taught me a lot about cooking and coffee. It was such a greaqt place to work and to eat. I will always remember my days there. It is a sad that I lost touch with him over the years. I wish nothing but the best for his family and pray that they are able to heal from this tragic loss. God bless all his family.

I knew David from Santa Fe, NM. He was a very good person and a successful businessman! May he rest in peace. God bless him and his family.

Dave was my nephew. I remember him first as a beautiful little boy with
curly blond hair and a special smile and recognized then
how special he was, with his laugh,
intelligence, and humor. I had the
joy of living with his family for
2 yrs in the 70's and cried when I left
him to move to Pa. I thought then that
I hoped I would love my own children, sometime in the future, as much as I loved Amy and Dave. As he grew into a
handsome man, I marveled at his intellect
and his sense of humor. His loss is devastating, and I will never forget him. Much love from his aunt and uncle, Peg and Joe DellaCroce.

Even though it's been years since David and I last saw each other in San Diego, I am profoundly sad to hear of his passing. The memories I have of him and our friendship are strong and important to me - thinking of his wit, laughter, and sense of humor will always make me smile. My sincerest condolences to the Rubenstein family and friends.
