We will always treasure the years we lived across the street from our dear neighbors, Dave and Mary. Always a friendly smile, a wave hello, a compliment on the Christmas decorations, or Dave asking, "How's the Judge?"
So deeply sorry for the loss of such a sweet man. God bless !

I was saddened to read about Dave's passing, but it reminded me that I knew him as Dave Allen on KGB, where I was secretary in the early 60s; hard to believe it's been over 50 years. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mary and all the Zedaker family,
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of David Sr. He was always such a joyous, light filled human being that gave joy to all around him. Knowing the path of alzheimers disease, he is in a better place. My heart goes out to all of you!

My dearest Mary: I already sent a message to the whole family, but want you to know personally that you are in my heart. I won't be able to attend the service as I am battling a nasty flu bug, but have had you and David in my thoughts continually since I first heard from Melody. David was an extraordinary character, and you have been an extraordinary wife and friend to him. Love, Joyce

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of David. Having your family as our next door neighbors for 40 years brought us friendship, comfort and security. We were lulled to sleep many nights by the click-clacking of your printing press! May your fond family memories sustain you during this difficult time. Love, The Bennett Family

January 5, 2013

We first met David and Mary in 1966 when four little towheads came to the door asking if our girl could play. We were fast friends, doing many family things together. David was always a fun guy, with his Aloha style. After we moved, we always enjoyed their Christmas cards, and seeing them at the Point Loma Concert. Rest in Peace.may The Lord bless all the family at this time. May you feel His Peace. Bettyann and Jack Lamott
