Dwayne Jeffries Obituary

Dwayne Lee Jeffries December 16, 1935 - April 20, 2018 Snyder, OK Dwayne Jeffries was a native of Oklahoma. He earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University. Soon after, he joined the Peace Corps in 1963 where he was stationed in Kudat, Borneo. He married fellow Peace Corps volunteer, Ruth Reece, in 1965. They settled in California where they raised their three daughters. Dwayne was a veterinarian and opened his own practice, La Mesa Pet Hospital, where he worked for almost 20 years. He moved to Menifee in retirement, where he was active in Gideons International, softball and golf. Dwayne will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters Jackie Thompson, Rachel Fuller, Rita Jeffries, their families and his sister Glenda McCormick.
