Such a surprise to see Dr Beretta in the paper. My mother worked at Rees-Stealy lab and was a patient of Dr Berretta. He saw her thru many medical issues and seemed to be her main adult support without family around us. He kept her living a much longer time than they expected. I owe him so much since I was still a kid in school. Thank you and his name still rings in my head.

I had the privilege of working for Dr. Beretta when his regular nurse was on maternity leave. He was a wonderful doctor and gentleman, much loved by his patients and employees of Rees-Stealy. My condolences to his family. He leaves an inspiring legacy.

My sincere condolences to the Beretta family. Dr. Beretta not only was my person physician until he retired, he and his wife and sons were the most important, positive influence on my family in the late 1960's. Mrs. Beretta cared for my 2 younger sisters, and Marshal was my brother Paul's best friend from UCSD. Dr Beretta was wonderful man, incredible father and awesome doctor. Every visit to their home was an interesting and fun experience. I'm glad the world had him to share and appreciate for 99 years, what a treasure.
