Gordon Witz Obituary

Gordon Witz August 11, 1936 - February 11, 2022 Carlsbad, CA
The life of Gordon Witz ended peacefully on the morning of February 11, 2022. He had a fulfilling, wonderful life, packed with many adventures during his 90 years.
Born and raised in Alhambra CA, he graduated from the University of California at Berkley. He became a pharmacist where he spent over two decades helping others, always making a point to speak to every patient about their prescriptions and health issues. Gordon also found joy in being of service to others and the community as a lifelong member of Rotary international.
In a second chapter of his life, he moved down to Oceanside and then Carlsbad where he became a beloved fixture on the real estate scene as an agent, easily identifiable by his Century 21 nametag affixed to one of his favorite Hawaiian shirts, and a trusty cup of Starbucks coffee by his side.
A generous and compassionate man, he continued participating in many charitable activities throughout his lifetime. His legacy continues on with his wife of 63 years B.J., his son David, David's wife Vanessa, his son Michael, Michael's wife Lisa, his six grandchildren, Danielle, Cameron, Gibson, Max, Stella, Finn and his loyal shihzpoo Susie.
In lieu of flowers donations in his honor may be made to Rotary International or University of California Berkley.
