I briefly knew Harvey three years ago. He told me a story I have never forgotten. I took notes on it. For many years when he was a child and then through his teen years, Harvey and a brother slept on the roof of their house. "My father built a tent on the roof on the back of the house." The two boys reached it through a hole their father cut in the roof. "My brother and I loved that tent. To hear the birds at night, to see the lightening in the rain. We really enjoyed it. We thought we were privileged to be so close to nature." I remember Harvey as a gentle man. Although he rose in the military from a private to a major, he did not like war. Now this kind man is part of the universe we see at night when we look up to the stars, just like Harvey did so long ago from his rooftop.
