Am sad on learning of my friend’s demise, this is not the time for us to grieve his death but it’s our time to celebrate his life. Don’t ever forget Hassan. He never wanted to see people cry. He wanted to make everyone happy. Let’s all think back and remember how Hassan touched our lives. How he made us laugh and how good Hassan was as a person. This is not the moment for us to shed our tears but we should all be thankful that we were given the chance to have known a man named Hassan. Hassan will forever be missed but I know in the right time, I will meet Hassan again. We will all meet Hassan again and he’ll make us laugh in tears again.

Everyone who attended Muhoroni-Success primary school in the 1980-90's knew Hassan. He was this exceptionally intelligent student, jolly, good natured and in our hearts, we were certain he had a bright future waiting out there. We would be expecting to hear any great news about him, but certainly not his death. What a shock. It was indeed a privilege know Hassan. Aziz, rest in peace. Condolences to the Okullo family and friends.
