HULDA CLARK Obituary

CLARK, HULDA REGEHR Dr. Hulda Regehr Clark passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009, at age 80, in Chula Vista, CA. She was born October 18, 1928, in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, the daughter of Jacob and Maria Regehr, and the sister of Jacob, Henry, Willie, Irma, Edna and Leo. She earned a BS and MS from U Saskatchewan and Ph.D. from U Minnesota in 1958. Her scientific career began in 1965 at Indiana U, Bloomington. Her impulse toward practical application led her to establish a nutritional consulting practice in the 1960's and, later, an independent research program on human disease which became the focus of her life. She published seven books and established a clinic in Tijuana, Mexico. Her work attracted critics, but despite threats and intimidation, her conviction and forgiving outlook let her pursue her clinical practice and research until she was 79. She is survived by her three sons, Geoffrey Allen Clark, married to Charlotte Scullin Clark, Douglas Burt Walcerz, married to Elba Ivette Rohena, and Robert John Clark, married to Jane Templeton Clark, her three siblings, Edna Bernstein, Irma Gawboy, and Leo Regehr, and seven grandchildren. Services Saturday, September 26th, in Chula Vista, CA. She is grateful to all who supported her work, and her dream is that her work will be carried on by others. Memorial donations can be made to Amnesty International, the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee, and the American Civil Liberties Union.

What more can be said than this fitting memorial to her life and work on Wikipedia. Not every one merits their very own Wiki site! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulda_Regehr_Clark

I was very impressed with her after I emailed her in year 2000 approx about a relative with cancer. She called me back and gave some advice. I've learned things from her book and related writings that have been online. I appreciate her courage and willingness to help others in a big way.

The world has lost a healing pioneer and legend. Who will now carry the torch? I first learned of Dr. Clark’s work in the mid 90’s and started using some of her cleanses then. I still use them to this day. Her work has made a WORLD of difference in the health and well being of our household. When I told my SO that Dr. Clark would be in Austin at the Health Freedom Expo in late 2006, he insisted that we drive in from Houston so that I could get to see her. We were broke, but he knew it would mean to the world to me to meet her. He scraped together enough money and we made the trip. I went to all 3 of her lectures and took pictures with her. I assisted her during her Synchrometer lecture. She even corresponded with me via e-mail afterwards. I am sorry to hear that Dr. Clark's last few years were filled with physical pain due to a spinal cord injury. Though I hurt from the loss of this angel, I am relieved that she has found her well deserved rest. My condolences go out to her son Geoff, other family members, friends and loved ones.
