Jane Barrett Calder May 3, 1941 - July 8, 2018 Newport Beach Jane was born on May 3, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and passed away peacefully on July 8, 2018, at her home in Newport Beach, California. Jane and her family eventually relocated to San Marino, California, where she attended San Marino High School. She then attended UC Berkeley, where she joined the Alpha Phi sorority and met her husband of 56 years, Scott. After Scott's military service, Jane and Scott settled in La Jolla, California, where she was very active in the Junior League and Las Patronas. Jane and Scott later relocated to Newport Beach, California, with their two children, John and Michael. Jane continued her Junior League service in Newport Beach and also became active in the Newport Harbor Yacht Club, where she served on several committees including as commodore of Mother Sabots in 2007. Jane was predeceased by her father Richard, mother Mary, brother Richard, and sister Frances. She is survived by her husband Scott, son John (Molly), son Michael (Kirsten), and her four grandchildren Katherine, Elizabeth, Erin, and William.
