John Theron Lyon

LYON, JOHN THERON March 18, 1957 to Oct. 3, 2002 John passed away following a long and bravely fought battle from diabetes. He graduated from high school with a trade school scholarship. A schooled auto mechanic 15 years before disablement and lived 10 years at his parent ' s home helping with his father ' s care. In his short life he owned his own property and over 75 cars. John was happy to help all people with love and compassion. When no longer able to work he helped many with advice. His very generous disposition, kindness, understanding and love of all people can never be forgotten. John is preceded in death by his father Lyle E. Lyon in 1978. Survived by mother Lillian Marcy Lyon, brothers Tom L. Lyon, Terry L. Lyon, and nephew Troy L. Lyon. Memorial services 11 a.m. (today), Congregational Church, 8360 Lemon Ave. La Mesa, officiated by Rev. Ted Selgo.
