I will miss those occasional but always enjoyable conversations with John over the years. First met him while volunteering with RCIA so many years ago. He certainly was a kind and gentle soul, and truly a vessel of good works and compassion.

Dr. John Mayo was a wise, soft spoken, gentle man ready with a smile and kind words. It was an honor and pleasure to serve on RCIA Team in the 90s with him. God's Love and Peace to all his loved ones, especially during these most difficult times.

Lori and family, It was with great sorrow that I heard of John's passing. I have many memories of John as we complemented or senses of humor. I spent many years with John on the RCIA team. He was a great teacher and mentor for many of the new Catholics coming into the church. He certainly had and was a gift from God. God bless and comfort you.
