Julia Marine Obituary

Julia Ione Marine, 87, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 26, 2023 after a short battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Adrian Marine, her brother Anton Andersen, her parents Violet Taylor DeBroux Andersen and Otto Frederick DeBroux. She is survived by her three sons, Anthony and wife Annette, Adrian and wife Leslie, and Aage Robert Marine, five grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Adrian, Jennifer and Aaron, thirteen great-grandchildren, and her sister, Alicia Andersen Cooley.

Julia loved raising her family, attending parties and going on vacations. She loved to travel with her husband in their RV and being a member of the Cortez Club. She volunteered thousands of hours to both the Torrey Pines State Park as a docent and the Veterans Hospital. Julia will be remembered for her love for her family, her kindness and her willingness to help others. She will be missed, but we can rejoice that she and her husband both accepted the Lord as their savior and are together in Heaven for eternity.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Crosspoint Church, 28753 Via Montezuma, Temecula, CA 92590 and is open to everyone that knew her. She will be interred alongside her husband at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery on Monday, November 6, 2023.
