Dearest Dr. Sweetman, we still miss you every day. Not a month goes by that we don't think about how amazing you were and how you changed my sweet girls life for the better. Your wisdom, knowledge and pioneering spirit will forever live on in the medical community. If not for you my baby would not be here. You saved her life. If not for you and your frank conversations, I would not be half the advocate I am for her today. May you Rest In Peace in God's Glory. You are gone but will never be forgotten.

In Love

I was looking up Dr. Sweetman's phone number so I could refer a friend's child to her. I was deeply saddened to see of her passing. My son at 14 years of age was in and out of Phx children's hospital on a monthly basis for 3 years. He had this horrible nerve pain that would come and go. We saw every sort of specialist. By accident my son's twin went to see her for something and we got to talking about health history. To make a long story short she told me to bring in my other son as she was sure she knew what his problem was. I brought him in for an evaluation she gave him medication and he is now 21 yes old and in perfect health. She found what about 20 other doctors could not. I could say she definitely touched our lives. My condolences to her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Words can not express how saddened we are here. May we all take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over her family, friends and her precious boys. I believe Laura's greatest joy in her life was making others happy. She helped and saved so many lives along her path. We all love you Laura so very much and will remember you each and every day. We were all so lucky to have you in our lives. God bless you our beautiful angel.
