Lori has been a dear friend since the day we met, 23 years ago. I always admired her spirit and energy, especially in recent years when her health was failing. She refused to let illness define her, continuing to live life to the fullest. Lori lived and died with dignity and grace. My thoughts, prayers and love are with John, Holly, Andy, Tim, and all of the grandchildren.

My love and prayers go out to all Linda's family and friends. She was my mother-in-law but I called her Mom. She was my mom and always supported soldiers prayed for me and when I was deployed. I am in Afghanistan and cannot make it in time for the service but she knows my heart and spirit are there. She knew Christ as her personal savior and would want us to celebrate her life rather than mourn her death. She walks with the Lord but she will always be in our hearts. Love you Mom I will miss you...Your son, Rob

I met Linda here at her home in Ozark, Ar., about 12 years ago. The happiest 12 years of my life. We were like two little kids always looking for something to do or somewhere to go! She was better than any drug to lift up your spirits and make you smile. I am so glad she came into my life and she will never leave my memory. What a beautiful person she was.

Lori always thought of others before herself. She filled my childhood with so many good memories, which I have passed on to my children. It was an honor to be in her life. She will be missed.

My Mom,

Kind, loving and the most thoughtful person I have ever known. She will be remembered with love as that is how she lived her life. She did not want us to grieve her death, but to celebrate her life. For those that knew her, you are as blessed as myself and my family. She could light up a room with her smile. She was and always will be my guardian angel. Momma, I am thankful you are now at peace.

John: Oh how we remember the happy days in Mira Mesa. First at Pomerado and then over the tax table. Laurie was a bright light to enjoy.
