The world is a different place without my cousin Manuel. Only God knows why a good man like Manuel dies and why so many "others" still walk the earth. Doesn't seem fair to me but who am I to question.
Manuel was an example to me of what man should be to his wife and children. He always encouraged me and made me feel proud. I can feel his big grizzly bear claw of a hand smackin me on the back. He never knew his own strength. But no matter where in the world I went or what I did he still called me "Ricky". I love you Manuel. Save a cigar and a cold one for me, see you when I see brother.

Ohh Uncle Manuel .. where do i start. I will always remember your smile, your laugh, the way you loved & cared for everyone. I'll miss having you as an uncle . & ill miss not seeing you anymore. I feel like such a bad person, for not going to your service. It was my last time to say goodbye. or better yet 'see you later' :) Please forgive me.. I will make a promise to you .. to visit you every chance i get. I love you & i am glad you are no longer in pain. Now you may spread your wings & fly. You were a wonderful person & left us all with great memories to look back on. You are forever in our hearts & will never be forgotten. You will be missed by many!! Now you are with Nana, Uncle Huero, Tweety . all the ones we lost throughout these years. Now you all can watch over us all. I hope you visit me in my dreams, i am always thinking about you. I will see you soon Uncle :) i love you & i will always remember you & the love you had for those chargers hehe.. Lets hope we win the superbowl this year uncle! MUUUAH XO. I worked with Manny side by side for a few years many years ago at Toyota Escindido .
I will miss his positive attitude and good nature personality.

I have very fond memories of Manuel dating all the way back to the softball days. He was a good man and I hope you keep all those good memories close to your heart. My condolences to Liz, the Gomez family and his extended family.
