I have wonderful memories of Aunt Margaret. She was unfailingly kind and gentle. As my Uncle Bob Howes' sister, I was an honorary niece, but she always made me feel cared for.

I was so glad to have seen this picture and article in the paper. Marge and Ben were our wonderful neighbors on Bounty St for many years. I'll always treasure the memories of this special neighbor.
FYI....Art passed away 02-24-16.

Such a sweet woman. Wonderful memories of her from when I was younger, living on Bounty Street. My prayers are with all the family.

My condolences to the entire family. I did not know Margaret, but Dan was my brother Michael Lindsay's best friend in high school & beyond. Since my brothers passing, we have thought of Dan often & wondered where & how he was.
Dan, if you get this message, please call me. My sister Carol & I would like to see you or at least talk with you. My phone # is (619) 905-7433. I'm passing this information on to Gwen & Sarah too.
I wanted to come to your moms services, but sadly I have another commitment on that day in the morning.
We all would love to see you & offer our condolences in person.

Aunt Margaret has joined my folks and other loved ones in heaven! For that I rejoice! She became "Aunt Margaret" to me when my mother's sister Dorothea married Margaret's older brother Bob Howe. I am so very thankful to have known them both! Fortunately I lived next door to Uncle Bob who I loved dearly and was like a second father to me. Although distance kept us apart most of my childhood, I remember that Aunt Margaret always had a warm and welcoming smile to make me feel comfortable. One of the most memorable times with her and her dear family was when our family flew from Southern Oregon to the McCaffery home in San Diego to celebrate our daughter Laura's 2nd birthday in 1990. I will never forget the warm and loving hospitality we enjoyed.
My love goes out to all of Margaret's family in this time of loss. I know that she felt very much loved by you. You are all very dear to me.
With love, "Cousin" Liz (Elizabeth Bowlus White)
