No words to express my shock and sadness hearing of Marie´s passing... I have never met her nor chatted on the phone. She was one of so many that sent birthday greetings to my 96 yo father. I always welcomed her beautiful hand written notes to my dad. She became special to me, continuing to drop us a little note from time to time. Well Marie, find my daddy, he´s the handsome WWII Navy vet... I know he´ll give you a welcome hug. God Bless you, sweet Marie.

We were stunned by the sudden loss of our friend of so many years. We send our deepest condolences to her family. Marie was a very generous woman who always supported those in need. She will be missed by all who knew her zest for life! This beautifully written obituary says so much about the woman she was!

I was so sad to hear of Marie´s passing. I met her when donating my photography services and gift certificates to a few organizations she was deeply involved in. If you have seen the portrait of her with the cowboy hat, I created that image in Old Town for her when she was receiving an award. She touched me deeply, as she did so many. And I did receive at least on of those letters. It might be possible to find share the files with you if I had an ideas about what year that was. You can email me a if you want to check in about this.
She was special to everyone she met, including me. All the best, Luci Dumas
