I am so saddened to learn of Matthew's death. He and my son, Bill, were best friends for many of their elementary years. We lived just across the street on Goetze St.
I now how much you, his mother and family will miss this darling young man. He was taken far, far too young. May God be with you all.

We were saddened to learn about Matthew. He will be missed. The obituary was well written and goes to show what a lucky man he was to be so well loved by his family. I grew up in Paradise Hills across the street from the Willkies. I last saw him at his father's funeral. There I met his lovely family he so loved. Believe me, he's up there with Jim discussing something. My sincere condolences to his family and all his friends.

I am sorry to hear about Matt's passing. By reading the wonderful words that were written about him, it is nice to see he didn't change from our school days. It sounds like he was still the nice happy go lucky guy that I remember going to school with. May the Lord comfort you all in your time of sorrow.
