Michael Edward Goldstone

Goldstone, Michael Edward CARLSBAD -- Michael Edward Goldstone, 73, passed away on Dec. 19, 2014 in Carlsbad, CA. He was born on Sept 7, 1941 in New Haven, CT to Louis Goldstone and Sarah Schaffer Goldstone, who pre-deceased him. Michael grew up in New Haven, CT; he graduated from Quinnipiac College and Hillhouse High School. He worked in the automotive industry for 60 years, on both the East and West Coasts. He was an avid Model Train aficionado and collector, who enjoyed vintage movies. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 20 years, Wendy Weisman Goldstone; three sons, Alan, Brian, David Goldstone; daughter-in- law, Lisa Bernet; and two grandchildren, Tara and Kylereese Goldstone. A memorial service will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, 1999 S El Camino Real, Oceanside, CA 92054 at 12:30 p.m., on Jan. 9, 2015. The family will be greeting friends and relatives following the service at Michael and Wendy's home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to North County Parkinson's Support Group, 8555 Aero Drive, Suite 308, San Diego, CA 92123.
