I had the pleasure of being a neighbor of Nick & Bea since 2012. They were very welcoming to us when we moved into the neighborhood. Nick brought me over to his house one day to share a story from his experience in WWII which included a German victory cane and a book showing the German pilot missing his. His eyes would light up as he told the stories. I'll miss seeing him around.

Nick was always eager to share a memory and tell stories about his recollection of the early days of the community in San Diego. He loved exchanging conversation of all the people he knew when he was younger, and was always good company at the events and functions where we saw him. May his memory be eternal!
