Paul Bryant Fisher

1950 - 2022

Paul Bryant Fisher passed away peacefully from Parkinson's Disease on September 7, 2022 at the age of 72. Paul was born March 24, 1950 in Los Angeles, the second child of Gerald "Jerry" and Dolly Fisher. The family moved for a short time to Fallbrook and then to San Diego when Jerry took a job at Convair General Dynamics.
Paul graduated from Madison High School in 1968 and was very athletic, participating in many sports including baseball, gymnastics, wrestling, and he was a Cheerleader in his senior year. He also played Pop Warner football and loved being the Charger's mascot as "Charlie Charger" when the team first came to San Diego with the AFC.
Paul never married or had children, but he had a long term relationship with Pat Jones who was also a Madison Cheerleader. He will be remembered as a loving, multi-talented, joyful person and will be greatly missed by his siblings (Nancy, Chuck, Bruce, Cathy and Carolyn), two cousins, five nephews and nieces, and eight great-nephews and nieces. He also had many lifelong friends who kept in touch and treasured being his friend.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 am at Clairemont Covenant Church, 5255 Mt. Ararat Dr. The family welcomes all who wish to attend the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Parkinson's Foundation.
