Paul Theodore Obituary

Theodore, Paul 05/19/1962 ~ 11/22/2014 SAN DIEGO -- Paul Charles Theodore, 52, an extraordinary father, husband, son, brother, friend and much loved teacher to thousands of students, passed away November 22, 2014, after a long battle with nasopharyngeal cancer. He fought this battle with ferocious will and gratitude, inspiring all who knew him. Paul loved the Lord and humbly, yet boldly shared is faith in God to his students, fellow teachers, patients in the chemo lab, nurses, doctors and to friends. Paul was passionate for teaching and taught history at San Pasqual high school for 17 years, influencing thousands of students with kindness, humor and his high expectations. He is survived by his wife, Carol, two sons, Joshua and Stephen. Paul Theodore will remain in our hearts forever as, in the words of one of his students, "a true hero." Memorial service at 4:00 on p.m., Monday, December 8th, at Emmanuel Faith Community Church at 639 E 17th Avenue, Escondido.

So sorry to learn of Paul's passing as I also learn of his father's who was my teacher. Nice to learn that Paul became a teacher too. Condolences to the family. Nurit from HM :)

We were privileged to know Paul over the years, and were so encouraged by his strength and outlook during his battle. We wish we could have been at the service, and will continue to pray for Carol and the boys. God is with you!
