Penny Longpre

LONGPRE, PENNY Penny Longpre, 81, died June 3, 2004. Born in Utah December 4, 1922, resident of Vista for over 16 years. She was an accomplished fine artist, teaching her skills to young and old, owning several art galleries throughout California. Penny was a very active member of the Shadowridge Country Club in Vista. She was a member of the Mayflower Society, and was voted ``Woman of the Year'' for her many contributions to the Flintridge-La Canada community. Penny was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Jack Longpre, and daughter Debbie. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rod and Karen Longpre, daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Chris Grant, of Vista and six grandchildren.
