He was the first Veterinarian I worked with in Monrovia, CA. He is the reason I am in the animal health field twenty five years later. Thank you Dr. Pyne

Dr. Pyne, was a genuine human being, and a great man of character. He provided comfort and kindness in his daily life, and was a gift to those animals and their owners. Farewell, and following seas Doctor. God Bless You.

Dr. Pyne was a remarkable, kind, & compassionate human who loved animals. He has taken care of my dogs the past 17 years. My friend, you will be missed.

My wife and I are saddened by your passing. The kindness and "bedside manner" you showed for our dog "Coco" will be long remembered.

Dr Pyne, you have been an ad hoc member of our family ever since we moved to Bonsall in 1998 with Sir Purr and Jasmine. Both are gone now, probably waiting for you at the pearly gates, but we still have a cat, Daffodil, given to us by you, at the age of 6 weeks -- a squalling runt of a litter of seven. She rules us all, and accepted another corgi to replace Jasmine, with great enthusiasm. Dr. Pyne, of all the vets we have had, you were the best. We will never forget your kindness and empathy -- I think you were the only one who really understood how we feel about our animals. May you rest in peace, surrounded by all your furry friends. They and their people will miss you more than we can say.

Dear Richard,

Our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation goes to you for all you did for Sage, Cassie & Duchess. You made a difference in their lives, hence, you made a difference in ours. You where our pups' vet, and you also became our friend. No doubt there was quite a welcoming committee as you passed over Rainbow Bridge. It wouldn't surprise us if you decided to stay right there. Your kindness and understanding are an example for those who attempt to fill your shoes. You are loved. You are missed.

My family was deeply saddened by Dr. Pyne's passing. He was a kind hearted man who loved his family fiercely. Dr. Pyne came into our lives about 20 years ago when he first treated my beloved Shadow, Jetta and Bandit. Our families became friends and I remember fondly going fishing with him a few times several years ago. It became a standing joke when casting off he would remark "probably the only thing I'll catch is a sunburn", he was usually right! He had quite a sense of humor. We miss you Dr. Pyne. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and everyone at Fallbrook Animal Hospital.

Although I know that Dr. Pyne is in a wonderful place, my heart was broken with his passing. He was our special vet for 20 years...and besides taking care of our cats and dogs, he gave us advice about our horses! His shoes will be hard to fill.

I will miss Dr. Pyne, but know that he is at peace. He was one of the last country doctors that I knew of. I will always remember his warmth, kindess, and guidance when he was helping me animals. Sable is at the gate waiting for him. God Bless. The tears haven't stopped yet but they will. God brought home one of his angels to rest. Thank you always for your kindness and love.

No doubt our Beloved Dr. Pyne is now caring for all fur-babies that have preceded us. It doesn't take much to close ones' eyes and see all of the "critters" Doc has taken care of and cherished welcoming him to glory! Love to all his family and staff. Jan/Nancy/Savannah and all of our Furbabies

Our family is deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Pyne. He was the best doctor our family had (this includes people doctors!). He not only had an incredible personality, but exceptional diagnostic skills.

Dr. Pyne, the Monacelli family will deeply miss you! Rest in peace.

Dr. Pyne was one of a kind. He will truly be missed by all who have come to know him. His ability to diagnose our most precious babies was unlike any other. He always had a kind word and took the time to listen. It has truly been a privilege to have known him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and everyone at Fallbrook Animal Hospital.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Pyne. He was a wonderful man and a fantastic vet. He cared about animals and their human families. He was our family vet for about 20 years, starting with our pet rabbit, Oreo. He shared our sorrow when we lost a beloved pet, our anger after discovering that our cat, (who adopted us), had been shot with lead shot, and our joy of sharing our lives with animals. God bless you, Dr. Pyne. Our hearts go out to those who loved you. May they find comfort in their memories - John, Debbie, Oreo, Ashes, Rex, Big Boy, Lil Bit, Smokey, Back Door, and Ghost Gieseman

Although I have only known him for 3 years, I was extememly pleased with Dr. Pyne's attention to my dog's problems and his never ending stream of stories. It was always a pleasure to meet with him and exchange views (being both very near in age) on todays society. Dr. Pyne will be sorely missed, both as a vet and a friend.

Dr. Pyne was a wonderful veterinarian who cared for each of our pets as if they were his own. He diagnosed problems fast and always gave us the comfort that we needed during some difficult times. We pray for his family that they know Dr. Pyne is at peace now and thank God for sharing him with all of us in Fallbrook. Gene & Janet Heyden
