Hi Mr. Chuhna,

I heard some organ music today-music that we really good. I of course thought of you. I miss hearing you make my mom´s organ really rock. It has been so many years since you passed, and I still miss you.

I hope that there is plenty of music where you are.

Hi Carol & Family,

Just saw the news & wanted to send my condolences. Roy was a close family friend and our music teacher for many years. My parents and I were found of Roy & his family. Unsure of the exact date of his passing; however, 98 years old? That's an impressive birthday...but he's an impressive type of person too.
Sending much love to Carol & family.
Warm regards,
Leighann O'Reilly

I was deeply saddened by the news about the death of Roy. I am so very sorry. This must be a very difficult time for you. Please remember that you are in my thoughts and my prayers.

Roy was such a kind soul, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I will miss his helpful advice. I remember the time when he took me fishing. We did not catch anything but he took the time. I was around 5 years old. This is one of the fondest memory that I have of many of Roy's
I'm sure you remember that day, Mom, when Roy took me fishing I'll never forget that time. Every time I take my kids fishing, I think of Roy. Now I think about how much I will miss him.

I know how much you will miss Roy, but you can take comfort and strength from the wonderful family you and he had together. I know their love will get you through this difficult time. I would like to offer my help too.

May God bless you and your family during this time and always,

Fred Cole

My Goodness! Roy was my music teacher... around 1970... when I was 12 or 13! Helped solidify a lifelong love of music. I still play, and I'm sure I still have some old sheet music from those days. Will always remember him pulling up to our house in his Karmann Ghia convertible... always so dapper.

We sometimes had a small generation gap happening, where I would choose "Summer Breeze" for a lesson, Roy thought I said "Summer Wind"... until a couple bars into the song he would stop me, "What is this? This isn't the right song." So I would play him "Summer Breeze"(Seals & Crofts), then I would scoot over, and he would play me "Summer Wind"(Frank Sinatra). And to this day, I'd still rather listen to Sinatra!

A great teacher, a wonderful musician and gentleman. Amazed and moved to learn he lived such a long, full life.
