I knew Mike from Gold's Gym in Pacific beach. Mike was a special guy, one of the best Human beings I've ever known. That big smile on his face truly represents his personality and good heart.

Tomasiak Family: I'm just hearing about 'Steve' (I think I was the only one that called him by his first name). My thoughts and prayers to all. Steve and I shared the same neighborhood and friends at JFKHS on Guam. He was a true Islander and will be missed!

Jennifer and family,
Mike loved to use my mini wagon at practice while he would go and write for the local newspaper. It was the color of the team, maroon. My friend Mike put my picture in the paper. You've heard it over and over. Your dad was the best in Guam.

Jennifer and family,Tom and Mrs Tomasiak, Mike touched the lives of many people, he was a sound human being in all sense of the word. I grew up with Mike on Guam. Played football on the same team as well as opposing teams. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Our heart goes out to Jennifer and the kids. We haven't seen them in a long time. I was talking to John about this when it was mentioned by a former student on my fb page. We remember Mike coming across the street to sit and talk with Brian and visit when we both lived on Alabar. I see that Mike has continue to reach the hearts of the young and old alike. The world was a better place because of Mike's life.

From what I am reading Mike continued to be the great guy I knew in high school. I am blessed for having spent time with him both on and off the football field. I am sorry for your loss and will take comfort that his family will be great people with a father and husband like Mike.

Jennifer and family: Mike was a teammate and friend in Guam. He was highly highly touted as an athlete but more importantly was respected as a friend and gentleman. Please know that there are countless people whom you have never met but who are grieving alongside of you and the kids.

Jennifer and family, I am so sorry for the sudden loss of Mike in your lives. I knew Mike while in high school on Guam. He was quite the athlete and always a gentleman. I never saw him without that smile on his face that I see was with him even in recent years. My prayers are with all of you. May God wrap his arms around you and your children as you mourn and heal.

Mike was an amazing guy that always had a positive attitude and was full of life. We worked together almost every day over the past year, went out to lunch and dinner together often, even grabbing a beer occasionally after work. We had dinner together on Thursday night at Tip Top Meats before work. He was always so generous and would almost never let me pay, and this was one of those times. He even shoveled half of his food onto my plate even though I couldn't eat most of it. Mike was just a great guy to be around and treated me like family. We had a lot of great times together and I will miss him immensely.

I grew up with Mike on Guam. He was always a kind, sweet and fun friend. We lost touch but inevitably his name would come up amongst the gang as we all loved the high school years we shared we him.
