I was on the Eisenhower with Tommy in 92. One of the most amazing men,friends, and brother Anyone could ever have.
I found out about his loss of life unexpectedly. But I just wanted to add my personal feelings towards Tommy. His eyes lit up the sky and his mile would brighten your room. His demeanor, his attitude, and his personality would win anybody over. I knew you were gonna be a friend of mine the minute I met you. I am very blessed to have spent time with you and to meet your family and where you came from.
You are forever in my heart and thoughts, my friend.
Your ship has docked, but mine is still out on open Waters.

Ever since I got that call, you are always in my thoughts. I miss you more then anything. I am happy I was able to meet your girl and the cute dog. Kayli still remembers him and every now and then ask about Ozzie. I named my first son Owen Thomas after you. He has blonde hair and blue eyes... go figure. You and Nic are my only real lifetime childhood friends and have known me since I was 6 y/o. I miss you because you were my only best friend. Talk to ya.

I knew Tommy from when he was stationed in Japan.
I had kept in touch with him on and off over the years since then. I decided to try to send him an email yesterday to catch up, but it came back to me 'Invalid Email address.' I thought that was strange, so I decided to try to look him up via Google. I just wanted to check in with him and see how he was doing. Then I came across this site.
I just can't believe it.
My sincerest condolences go out to the Roach family. Mr. and Mrs. Roach, I met you about seven years ago, when I came up to visit Tommy when he was on leave. I am so sorry for your loss.

This is probably one of the last entries in Tom's guest book. I just wanted to thank everyone who wrote something for doing so. As miserable as I am without Tom, it's good to know how many people out there loved him and have not forgotten him. Whomever sponsored the guest book for the last year, I would really appreciate it if you would send me a copy when you get it.
Tom, I will always miss you and think of you everyday for the rest of my life. You are the first thought I have in the morning, and the last thing I think about at night. What I wouldn't give to be with you again. I can't believe it's been two years to the day since you asked me to marry you so that we could spend the rest of our lives together. Nobody understands how difficult these unspoken anniversaries are. The only thing I regret is not marrying you sooner. But as far as I am concerned, we were joined closer than any piece of paper could have brought us. I will forever love you with all of my heart. I am so glad that you have such a wonderful family who all love me as a part of it, and I can only hope they know how much I love and appreciate every one of them.
