As Ronnie takes her light into another room, she leaves us (me) with wonderful memories or her commitment, depth, wisdom, laughter, and friendship. She welcomed me to Del Mar in 1983 and was a trusted friend when she was on City Council and Mayor and I was Chamber of Commerce president. She always put what was best for all concerned ahead of anyone's personal gain or agenda. A wonderful heart, unending enthusiasm, and a deep beauty. I'll miss her.

Ronnie was a great friend. We were involved together in raising money for the Powerhouse and more importantly the Lifeguard Headquarters. I will miss my lunches and discussion with her. I will alway remmember her great advise during my difficult times.
Love you Ronnie

We both attended OLP High School & were in the same class. Ronnie was a sweet and beautiful classmate. I'm not sure she knew the influence she had, but I often wanted to be called "Ronnie" because I was so impressed by her smarts and beauty...a dear and sweet person, all around, that's for sure. God bless all of her family in this difficult time. May the future bring you the happiest of memories.

Veronica and I were classmates at St. Patrick's School at least in 1957 and 1958. I really do remember her. Now remember this was 7th and 8th grade. She was very cute and the boys thought so too. There was one particular boy that liked her and she liked him. In 7th grade that would gaze at each other and sigh. Dear Sister Dorothy Mary finally gave up and sat them next to each other right in front of her. I am so impressed to read about her life and all that she did. My sincere sympathy to her family. I hope it helps a little to have someone remember when she was young. The boy involved in the this story died last year and I have happy visions of them sighing and laughing in Heaven. Blessings.
