WALTER COLE Obituary

COLE, WALTER R. Walter R. Cole, 89 native San Diegan, Graduate of San Diego High School Class of 1939, World War II Naval Veteran, retired from San Diego City Water Dept. and a member of La Mesa Masonic Lodge, passed away peacefully at his home Monday, November 15, 2010. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 year Ursula, sons Raymond and Harold Cole and his daughter Carin Ritter, also his sister Evelyn Whitney, his grandson Dr. Phillip Anthony Cole and granddaughter Jennifer Ritter, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Viewing will be from 5pm-9pm on Friday, Nov. 19th, and Service on Saturday, Nov. 20th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Roses at the Glen Abbey Cemetery.

I am so glad I saw you & Bud in Potrero 2 years ago. I don't know if you will know me by name (friend of Chris & Ken). My deepest condolences to you & your family. Hope to see you this year.

does anyone in the family know a Clarence Charles Cole(my dad) looking for his family. reach me a [email protected] this Walter Cole looks very similar. By the way, my brother is also named Walter Cole. thanks and please accept my condelences. my dad pass on years earlier.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the the family of Walt. I too am retired from the Wtr. Dept.. Walt and I worked, and were friends together for many years. He was a real good, and honest man. He will be missed by many. Rest in peace Walt.
