William Ellis Obituary

March 31, 1916-June 8, 2004

William Henry Ellis Jr., 88, of San Diego died Tuesday. He was born in Richmond, Va., and worked in civil service as a painter. He served in the Army and Navy, and was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his stepdaughter, Delphia Dickerson; brother, Fred Ellis of New York City; and two grandchildren.

Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Greenwood Mortuary, Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue, San Diego.

Mass: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Christ United Presbyterian Church, 1845 30th St., San Diego.

Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego.
