A friend recommended I met Clive in the summer of 2023 from Arizona. He needed some IV medical assistance and I was available as his nurse advocate. I saw him every day for a couple months and we got to be good buddies. He has and had an indomitable spirit and a grateful positive attitude. I was quickly included into his fold of friends and neighbors--so many wonderful people and of course I was at Taco Tuesday every week. We talked by phone every few months to check in. I had hoped to see him this past summer, but couldn't make it. I'm going to miss him and his great smile. I told him numerous times, he was my "hottest patient" ever. That made him laugh. I wish I could be there on the 22nd to celebrate a wonderful human being. I'll be celebrating from afar.
