David Sanchez Obituary

On July 14, 2018, David Daniel Sanchez, age 47, was called home to heaven. David was born in Santa Maria, CA. He was fortunate to be raised by such a close-knit family and had strong ties to the community. David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, the Los Angeles Dodgers and made the best barbeque ever. He is survived by his wife, Cassey Sanchez and their son, Davey; his daughter, Gabrielle Sanchez and his grandson, J.D.; his parents, David and Alice Sanchez; his brother, James Sanchez; his sister, Elizabeth (Michael) Yracheta; nieces: Sophia and Isabella; and nephews: Samuel, Julian and Riley. David had numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends who were all considered family. The Sanchez Family would like to express their gratitude to the transplant team and nurses at UCLA Medical Center and to the donor family who gave him a second chance at life and made it possible to meet his grandson (who has his grandpa's blue eyes). A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 3, 2018, at St. Patrick's Church, located at 501 Fair Oaks Avenue in Arroyo Grande, California.
