A chapter in my life, I will always remember.
The 'Davey-Blue' color car paint, that was your trademark throughout the 5 cities.
A Pepsi in one hand, a cigarette in the other. Always a smile on your face! Hmm hmm... Memories light the corners of my mind.
RIP! (X) B-I-L

Our deepest sympathies to Amanda, Cheery, Cindy and the rest of Dave’s friends and family. Dave’s four-year old Grandson Conor said it best the next day after his father Jeff had explained what had happened to Grandpa Dave. At dinner that evening, totally out of the blue, Conor suddenly asked us to hold hands because he wanted to say a prayer. It went something like this: “Dear God. I miss Grandpa Dave and wish he could be down here with us. But I know he can’t because he lives in Heaven now. So have fun, Grandpa Dave. I love you.”

I sang with Dave and he was a joyful man. Always a smile, a kind word and never said a bad word about anyone. I moved out of the area 2 years ago but whenever I came to town to visit it seemed I would run into him. He was gracious and kind. My best to his wife and family.
