David you were my heart and soul. You were the world to me. Even when you were angry with me all I wanted was to try and find a way for us to make up. How can I tell you how much you will be missed by me? I was always there for you from the beginning even if you did not know it.
I will never forget you kicking as you grew in my stomach. I will never forget how you latched on to my breast when the nurse asked if she could bring you to me because you would not take a bottle or pacifier. I wanted to hold you so much! I will remember when you and I were at the park close to where you father and I lived and you started to crawl off the blanket. I jumped up ready to pull you back. But then I stopped and told myself that I was raising you to let you go. I am not ready yet David!

I worked with David on several occasions during my 2O+ years at ASH. He was always professional; kind; supportive and helpful. I taught him things, he taught me things. He was always interested in learning new procedures. He explained things in an easy going way that made it easy to understand. He was missed when he moved. He´ll be forever missed now that he is never coming back. Hope you are at peace David.

I coached David on 2 CIF Championship teams. A hell of a player, great guy and top notch teammate. I´ll never forget halftime at Santa Ynez. Too Coach Welsh: "I know Coach". And the rest of halftime was all about you. RIP. Brother.
