I've been thinking about Don for quite a while now but he had always been a difficult person with whom to get in touch. I'm saddened to learn of his passing. He was a wonderful friend to all he met. I admired how he shared his experience, strength and hope with others. He had a sense of practical wisdom along with a quirky sense of humor. I regret not being able to spend more time with him. Rest in peace, old friend. Phil G.

Don and I used to sit on the couch at Melody and Shake. I spent many hours with Don when we were newly sober. He was my friend and I will miss him. Love you Man and you and God will get along fine.

Don worked for the California Conservation Corps for many years. His heart went out to many young folks, imparting his wisdom along the way. Many are better for having met you.

Don, you will be missed! You have some great company to join in the big meeting in the sky. You had some "pearls of wisdom" that strongly impacted me. Rest in peace Don!

Don always greeted me with "It's too bad." Yes, Don, it is. Will miss your dry dry wit.
Love to you as you annoy the angels.
