Gordon Stephen "Skip" LaBarr

April 4, 1935 - January 8, 2024

Grover Beach, California - Skip LaBarr passed away peacefully January 8 2024 at his home in Grover Beach, CA with his daughters Jennifer and Bernadette by his side.

Aged 88 years, he was born April 4 1935 to Bernie and Darlene LaBarr. Skip served in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by their 5 children, Russell, Kenneth, Loretta, Jennifer, and Bernadette. Their 6 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids and his sister and niece.

Skip was preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his wife Beatrice.

There will be a small graveside service at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery where he will be placed with his beloved wife of 54 years.

Margaret, thank you for your kind words and for being a part of my dad's life. I want you to know that I tried to find a phone number for you so I could call and tell you personally of his passing, I'm sorry the one I tried was not correct and I got caught up in all the other things that needed doing. I apologize you had to find out this way. You were in my thoughts. And I hope you see this.
