Guadalupe Haugh Obituary

Guadalupe Haugh It is with great honor and admiration that the family of Guadalupe "Lupe" Haugh announces her passing on April 28, 2018, in Los Osos, CA. She was born in Guyamas, Sonora Mexico in October of 1926 to Audomaro Lizarraga, a foundry mechanic and a Veteran of the Mexican Navy, and Herminia Fernandez, who lived to be 101 years old. Lupe grew up with her 12 siblings in the seaside town. She met and married her first husband and immigrated to San Diego in 1944they went on to have 7 children together. The couple relocated to Morro Bay in 1960. Through circumstances, Lupe found herself a single mother. While working at the Los Osos Cafe, it was there that she met her second husband, Eugene Haugh, a recent widower and a Veteran of the Army of the United States. Not deterred by her 7 children, the two fell in love and were married on March 20, 1966. Together they went on to have one more child. A lifelong lover of flowers, Lupe was always surrounded by as many blooming flowers as her talented green thumb could produce. Above all she can be defined by her deep love of all children and the smile they would put on her face. Lupe is survived by her children: Donald Lady (Evelyn), Mary Puett (Don), Linda Kussman (Steve), Anna Lady, Eva Larson (Daniel), Vicky Mobley (Mike), Georgia Baldwin (David) and Eugene J Haugh; as well as 11 grandkids; and 15 great- grandkids. A special thank you to the Los Osos Residential Care #2 Staff and owners: Randy and Marilou Ubay. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, May 4, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Ann Catholic Church, Los Osos, with a graveside service at 11:30 am at Los Osos Valley Memorial Park. A reception to follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Catholic Church.
